Cartomizer, Clearomizer, and Glassomizer Reveiws

Ego Threaded

Aspire K-1 Glassomizer (BVC)
Price: $7.50 ($15.00 for 2)
Vapor Production: Amazing for and ego device. One of the only ego tanks that has satisfied me.
Flavor: The flavor from this tank isn't amazing like dripping but pretty damn good for a small tank.
Usable Wattage: 3.3 v - 5 v  Listed, I've vaped thinned down 100 VG at 4.4 v pretty successfully.
Build Quality: Pretty simple little device really. The tank never leaks or gurgles so I would say great.
Overall: 9/10 Never had an issue with these little guys, in fact I had my last BVC coil in one of these for almost a month, I use these tanks every day at work and have yet to have one fall apart in my pocket like so many clearomizers do.

Kanger MT3S Clearomizer
Price: $4.00 ($20.00 for 5)
Vapor Production: Not bad for a cheap plastic tank with a metal cover, somewhat restricted airflow.
Flavor: The flavor isn't what I would call wonderful but you can't expect too much when you pay so little.
Usable Wattage: These thing don't do well at high wattage or voltage, 4.2 volts seems to be the cut off.
Build Quality: Not bad, not great though. They are very tough for the price.
Overall: 6/10 I used these for about a month while working construction, and they aren't too terribly bad. For as cheap as they are it's hard to complain to much, they do however leak pretty badly when it gets hot outside.

510 Threaded

Atmos 510 Nano Clearomizer
Size: Tiny, about the same size as a cartomizer but quite a bit longer.
Price: $12.59 for 3... Highway robbery... Three clearomizers for that price, and no replaceable coils...
Vapor Production: Better than a cartomizer, but nothing earth shattering. Nice for cigalikes.
Flavor: The flavor isn't bad, but trying to wick anything below 50/50 is just not possible.
Usable Wattage: Honestly, I'm not sure these thing were supposed to be used over 3.8 volts. Maybe 4.2.
Build Quality: Cheap, they do hold together as long as they need too.
Overall: 6/10 I bought these stupidly on a whim and don't find them all that useful on a usual basis. I have used them to test flavors and to use on my cig a like batteries.

Smoktech BDC Cartomizer Tank
Size: Not huge but relatively tall. The tank is thinner than a Nemesis mod, so maybe 19 mm.
Price: $10.00
Vapor Production: Not huge by any means, they are however insanely reliable for chain vaping.
Flavor: The flavor from this tank is another win, flavor is always bold and consistent.
Usable Wattage: Not sure what the upper end of this tank is. I have had it to 12 w with thinned down VG.
Build Quality: Nothing ground breaking. I think the caps are cast aluminum and the tube is glass.
Overall: 9/10 This is by a long shot not my favorite tank, but I am giving it a high rating for a number of reasons. The flavor is amazing, at 12 watts you can get a very nice, very pleasant throat hit, and you cant seem to get a dry hit with this thing if you prime it right. I never much cared for cartos but this thing made me a believer in them. I don't use this piece of equipment much though as I am more of a lung inhaler.

Aspire Nautilus Mini (BVC)
Size: Fairly small, a little thinner than a Nemesis clone. or iTaste SVD.
Price: $20.00 - $32.00 Depending on where you get one from. I would say try ebay.
Vapor Production: For a tank with a replaceable coil this thing impresses me, great vapor.
Flavor: The flavor is pretty good with this tank, but nothing like dripping.
Usable Wattage: 5 - 15 w, I use mine at about 12 w with VG Juice. I have seen it pushed to 17 w.
Build Quality: The build quality of these tanks is excellent, SS and Pyrex construction.
Overall: 9/10 For a mass produced tank system this thing changed the way I looked at tanks. This tank is capable of wicking quickly and efficiently enough to use lightly thinned 100 VG Juice. The Airflow adjustment ring even makes small lung inhales possible if necessary.

iClear 30 Top Coil Clearomizer
Size: Pretty big, tall, sits flush on SVD
Price: I think $15.00 or so, I got mine with the SVD.
Vapor Production: Pretty horrible to be honest, produces good hot vapor for throat hits though.
Flavor: For an early tank, this thing isn't total garbage. It is however not very good either.
Usable Wattage: I think the upper limit of this tank is somewhere in the area of 4 volts.
Build Quality: Fairly decent, kinda cheap. It does have a swiveling mouthpiece. It does not take drip tips.
Overall: 5/10 The top coil construction, juice window, and inability to change drip tips are among many reasons I have for not liking this clearomizer. Some may like it if they enjoy hot vapor and having to swirl the tank to keep the wicks wet.
