Battery/Charger Reviews

High Drain IMR Batteries

Battery: Efest 18350 Purple (Flat Top)
Price: $12.50 For Two (eBay)
Color: Purple
Capacity: 700 Mah
Amp Rating: 10.5
Vape Time: 1 - 2 Hours (Less on mechanical)
Overall: 8/10 Let me start off by saying I love these batteries. For what they are they preform excellently, and to my knowledge they are the only 18350 with an amp rating of 10.5 I would highly recommend these for stealth vapers and vapers that like to keep mods small. My only gripe is that they only last 30 - 45 minutes in mechanical mods.

Battery: Efest 18650 Purple (Flat Top)
Color: Purple
Price: $20.00 For Two (eBay)
Capacity: 2500 Mah
Amp Rating: 35A These are just re wrapped LG HE2 Batteries and only have a con. rating of 20A
Vape Time: 6 - 8 Hours ( 2 -3 mechanical)
Overall: 6/10 I have to say these aren't bad batteries, I just can't find it in myself to give a higher rating to a battery that lies on it's packaging. A majority of these efest purple 35A batteries are really just LG HE 2 batteries with 20A rating. The failure rate on these things seem to be rather high as well. One of the two batteries I bought was DOA.

Battery: LG HE 2 (Flat Top)
Price: $15.00 For Two (eBay)
Color: Red
Capacity: 2500 Mah
Amp Rating: 20A cont. 60A pulse.
Vape Time: 6 - 8 Hours (2 Last 18 Hours in Sigelei 100+)
Overall: 9/10 So far no complaints here, these batteries last for quite a while and are know to handle a bit more than 20A. Great for mechanical users and regulated mod users.

Battery: Samsung INR 25R 18650
Price: $7.00 ($28.00 for four on eBay)
Color: Blue
Capacity: 2500 Mah
Amp Rating: 20A cont.
Vape Time: 6-8 Hours most regulated mods, 2-4 Hours in mechanical mods, 18-20 in dual battery mods
Overall: 10/10 So far these have been some of the best batteries I have used for vaping. They seem to do slightly better than the HE2s in mechanicals, and have just as long if not longer battery life. The 20A cont. discharge limit is about the best you can find, unless you can find some VTC5s somewhere.

Battery: MNKE 18650
Price: $4.99 ($20.00 for four on eBay)
Color: Orange
Capacity: 1500 Mah
Amp Rating: 20A cont.
Vape Time: 2-4 Hours on regulated mods, 1-2 Hours on mechanical mods.
Overall: 8/10 So far my experiences with these batteries have been wonderful. They seem to hold power at 3.7V for a noticeably longer period of time than other batteries in the same category. The only real complaint I have about these batteries is that they don't last for a very long time and must be swapped quite regularly if being used in mechanical mods. Overall one of the most attractive things about these batteries is that they are to my knowledge the cheapest 20A batteries on the market at this point in time.

Li-ion Batteries

Battery: Trustfire 18350 (Button Top)
Price: $6.99 (Amazon)
Color: Orange
Capacity: 1200 Mah
Amp Rating: 3A - 5A (Unstated)
Vape Time: 2 - 4 Hours
Overall: 7.5/10 There are a number of reasons why I don't like these batteries. The main culprit is that there is no stated amp limit on the battery and as far as I know an accurate amp rating cannot be obtained from the manufactures website. The only reason I din't rate this battery lower is that it does have a place in regulated mods, it has a much higher power density than other batteries in its category. I do not advise these be used in a mechanical mod under any circumstance.

Battery: Efest 18650 Black
Price: $24.00 For Two (Amazon)
Color: Black with gold label
Capacity: 2600 Mah
Amp Rating: Unstated
Vape Time: 8-10 Hours
Overall: 8/10 These batteries are not a bad choice as far as Li-ions go, but should never under any circumstance be used in a mechanical. That being said, these batteries seem to last the longest out of all my batteries. These batteries are best used in a regulated mod at or under 20 Watts.

Chargers

Charger: Nitecore i2
Price: $17.99 (ebay)
Charging Bays: Two
Charge Time: 45 mins (18350) 1.5 Hours (18650)
Overall: 9/10 Although this charger only has two ports it is an amazing addition to a new vaper's collection, and is a solid reliable piece of equipment. I have personally owned this charger for about 6 months and had no report-able issues with it. I would highly recommend this charger to anyone who needs a good charger at a good price.

Charger: Nitecore D4
Price: $28.99 (eBay)
Charging Bay: Four
Charge Time: 1 Hour (18350) 2.5 Hours (18650)
Overall: 9/10 I got this wonderful battery charger a while back because I needed more than two battery slots after I got my dual 18650 box mod. I got this one in specific because it displays battery voltage as it charges. My only real gripe with this charger is it can be rather slow when charging all four batteries at one time. Regardless I would still recommend this to vapers who want a charger that displays voltage. For those who don't need all four bays there is a two bay version available.
